More About Me.
Background
I’ve held various roles over the years, including Graphic Designer, Visual and Interaction Designer, Sign Designer, and Technical Design Specialist in the aerospace industry. My passion for understanding people and solving design problems across different mediums has equipped me with a unique skill set that is valued by both my colleagues and managers.

In the past five years, I stepped back from full-time work due to personal and family health challenges but have continued to work part-time as a Web and Graphics Designer for a local domestic violence nonprofit and work on freelance projects. I’ve also actively sought to expand my skills by enrolling in a UX certificate program, getting familiar with AI, learning Figma, taking an AfterEffects course, studying HTML, honing my fine woodworking skills, and experimenting with new design mediums.

I’m excited to reenter the workforce and am actively seeking a full-time role where I can contribute and grow.
Education
To ensure my skills are current and I'm ready to hit the ground running, I completed a comprehensive six-month course at the University of Washington in April, earning a Certificate in UX and Visual Interface Design. I also have a BS in Industrial Design from Western Washington University, a Certificate in Animation for Digital Media from the University of Washington, and a Certificate in Fine Art from School of Creative Arts, Oxford Falls, NSW Australia.
